Sirona Orthophos SL CBCT
Our CBCT Scan is a unique type of x-ray equipment used at Sage Dental when regular x-rays are insufficient. CBCT Scans allow us to take a 3-dimensional image of an area in order to diagnose various conditions that are not visible on the standard 2-dimensional x-rays. This scan captures not only images of your teeth, but also the soft tissues, nerve pathways, and bones within your mouth in a single scan.
Digital Impressions (iTero Digital Scanner)
The iTero Digital Scanner allows us to take a 3D digital scan of our patient’s teeth and bite, providing highly accurate imaging results. We then take these results and use them to help improve restorations such as veneers, crowns, bridges, implants, and more. These iTero Digital Impressions are great for creating an Invisalign digital impressions submission. We love using the iTero Digital Scanner with our patients because they are safe as they do not expose you to radiation, and they are comfortable. No longer do our patients need to deal with the discomfort of gooey impressions.
Digital X-rays
The use of Digital X-Ray imaging uses digital X-ray sensors to replace traditional photographic X-ray film. Digital X-rays help us better detect, diagnose, and treat oral conditions or diseases with improved patient comfort and less radiation than previous methods.
Surgical Microscope
Our surgical microscopes are incredibly important to helping us produce clear magnified images, providing details that are difficult to see with the naked eye or loupes. Our surgical microscope is also helpful in endodontic procedures to provide accuracy in finding all canals within a tooth. At Sage Dental we use surgical microscopes to better diagnose and predictable treat each of our patients.
Sleep Apnea / TMJ
At Sage Dental, our team has many years of experience fabricating appliances to help our patients manage TMJ discomfort as well as an oral appliance that can substitute a CPAP machine in some sleep apnea patients.
CEREC + Milling Unit & Oven
Our CEREC + Milling unit & Oven allow us to create extremely precise and smooth restorations for your same day crowns.
Velscope
Velscope is a non-invasive oral cancer screening device. At Sage Dental we use Velscope because it helps us find abnormalities in your mouth that may not be visible to the naked eye.
CariVu
CariVu is a small device used to help detect caries using transillumination technology. This technology helps support the identification of occlusal, interproximal, and recurrent carious lesions and cracks.
Entertainment
To make your visit more enjoyable, we have TV’s set up in each of our rooms with Netflix for viewing during appointments.
