Meet Our Langley Dentists
Dentist
Dr. Shafiq Kara
Dr. Shafiq Kara is well known for his work in maintaining and creating healthy functional smiles for patients of all ages. Dr. Kara graduated as the valedictorian from the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Dentistry in 2004. Since then, he has spent countless hours travelling across the world to learn from the best cosmetic, restorative and specialist dentists, serving Langley and lower mainland families.
Dr. Kara is dedicated to providing Kois based dental risk assessments, functional bite correction, bite analysis and bite reconstruction, displaying excellent clinical and aesthetic expertise.

Dr. Maria Tugbang
Dr. Maria Tugbang was one of the leading cosmetic dentists in Langley. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the university of British Columbia. Dr. Tugbang practiced in White Rock, BC prior to purchasing Sage Dental in 2001. In 2008 Dr. Tugbang brought Dr. Shafiq Kara into the practice. They continued their partnership until March of 2021 when Dr. Tugbang retired from dentistry.
Dr. Maria enjoyed dentistry and participated in many continuing education programs to keep her skills current. She was a Graduate and a Mentor at the Kois Centre. She helped fellow dentists learn and implement systems that focussed on managing patient’s risk factors and developing treatment plans for long term, predictable success.

Dr. Aarman Rahim
Dr. Aarman Rahim was born and raised in the Tri – Cities. Dr. Rahim received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Sydney. Previously, he studied at Simon Fraser University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Health Science and a Certificate in Liberal Arts.
Dr. Rahim is dedicated to educating and providing his patients with the latest evidence-based treatment, in an efficient and comfortable setting. He is highly proficient, and detail orientated which has led to comfortable and satisfied patient experiences.
Dentist
Dr. Rabia Gill
Dr. Rabia Gill earned her DMD at University of British Columbia after first completing her BDS at Manipal University in India. She is a registered dentist with the Canadian Dental Association and BC Dental Association. She is excited to join the team at Sage Dental and North Langley Dental.
Apart from multiple CE courses taken over the years, she is currently pursuing graduation from world renowned Kois Centre in Seattle to further her skills. She is also a certified provider of Invisalign and Botox. She aspires to make all dentistry from simple fillings and cleanings to endodontics and orthodontics to be more predictable and comfortable for her patients.
