Dr. Maria Tugbang was one of the leading cosmetic dentists in Langley. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the university of British Columbia. Dr. Tugbang practiced in White Rock, BC prior to purchasing Sage Dental in 2001. In 2008 Dr. Tugbang brought Dr. Shafiq Kara into the practice. They continued their partnership until March of 2021 when Dr. Tugbang retired from dentistry.

Dr. Maria enjoyed dentistry and participated in many continuing education programs to keep her skills current. She was a Graduate and a Mentor at the Kois Centre. She helped fellow dentists learn and implement systems that focussed on managing patient’s risk factors and developing treatment plans for long term, predictable success.

She received extensive training in surgical placement of implants as well as hard and soft tissue grafts. Dr. Maria brought creativity and meaning to her service by using her gained education, training and experience to provide the best and most appropriate care. She was a CEREC Certified Doctor Provider and an Invisalign Doctor Provider.
